Special missions Schaerbeek (Josaphat)

We see behind the scenes, the daily lives of municipal workers, the hundreds of projects undertaken in a green space in a city. Days of small yet essential tasks on a civic scale. Repeated gestures, organized community service, teams. A territory traversed, soiled, and re-traversed. Images taken during the summer of 2012 at the Cleaning and Green Spaces Department of the Municipality of Schaerbeek (Brussels), curated by François Delvoye, with the Maison des Arts. A photographic installation of 24 images presented in 2mX2m format, on a wooden support for the green space into which it was integrated, on Avenue Voltaire in Schaerbeek.
